Your First Welcome Flow
What to expect the first time you sign in. Paste your website, review your branding, and generate your first Content pack.
The very first time you sign in to a new Market Trak workspace, you go through a short full-screen welcome experience that gets your branding set up and produces your first Content pack before you ever see the main dashboard.
The whole thing takes around two minutes. You can't skip past it on your first visit, by design. By the time you reach the dashboard, your workspace is already branded and you have your first Content pack to use.
Step 1: Paste your agency website
You'll see a single field asking for your agency website. Paste in your full URL (the same one your customers visit) and click Find my brand.
If you'd rather skip this and enter everything manually, you can click Skip for now below the input. Most people are better off pasting the URL, Market Trak does the work for you.
Step 2: We read your site
While you wait, a live checklist ticks off each thing Market Trak finds, with a preview of your website appearing in a small browser frame alongside as it works. The scan picks up:
-
Your agency name and a handful of short facts your site states about your business (like "Family-run" or the areas you cover)
-
Your logo, chosen by looking at the images on your site so a wrong or leftover logo gets rejected
-
Your social profiles (Instagram and Facebook links found on your site)
-
Your brand colours, read from how your site actually looks
This usually takes 5 to 15 seconds.
Step 3: Review what we found
You'll see editable cards with what we pulled from your site. Anything we got wrong, you can fix here before moving on:
-
Agency name: type over what we found if it isn't quite right.
-
Brand colour: click the swatch to open a colour picker or type a hex code directly. The colours we measured from your website sit underneath as one-tap swatches, with the snapshot of your site alongside so you can compare.
-
Your story: the facts we found appear as small removable tags, along with any social profiles we spotted. These facts get quietly woven into your Content Pack posts (one mention in each batch of three posts), so remove any that aren't right. You can edit them any time later under Workspace Settings > Branding > Brand Voice.
-
Logo: we show the logo we picked from your site. If you'd rather use a different one, drag a file onto the Upload your own tile (or click it to open a file picker). PNG, JPG, or WebP up to 2MB. To clear the logo entirely (and start your workspace with no logo), click the small X in the top-right corner of the logo preview, then continue without uploading a replacement.
-
How people reach you: if we found a phone number on your website, it appears here so you can check it. Below it you can add a WhatsApp number. Both are optional and neither stops you continuing, so leave them blank if you'd rather. Your WhatsApp number switches on the WhatsApp button on your Bio link page, and both numbers are editable later under Workspace Settings > Branding.
We don't accept SVG files because they can't be safely used on the social post images we generate later. If your website only has an SVG logo, we'll skip it and ask you to upload a PNG or JPG version instead, or you can continue without a logo.
If we couldn't read your site (rare, usually because your site blocks automated visits or didn't load in time), you'll land on this step with empty fields and a heading asking you to add your details. Just type in your agency name, pick a colour, and upload your logo manually. Nothing is lost by doing it this way, and you can change any of it later.
You don't need to worry about getting the address exactly right. If you paste a domain that forwards somewhere else, which is common for short domains bought mainly for email, Market Trak follows it to your live site and reads that instead.
When everything looks right, click Looks good, let's build your first pack.
Step 4: Your first Content pack
We save your branding to your workspace (including the website you pasted in Step 1, kept on file as your business website) and drop you straight onto a full-screen Content Pack canvas. Type in a postcode you want to target, choose the report style you'd like, and Market Trak builds:
-
A local market report for that postcode (with your logo and brand colour applied)
-
Three finished social posts in different visual styles, plus a preview of the three more that subscribing unlocks (a seller tip, a local insight, and a "get the guide" post)
This usually takes around 90 seconds. The logo and brand colour you just set are already applied to the report. Once you subscribe, those three extra posts are built for you automatically and every pack after that comes with all six.
When the pack lands, you'll see a small Welcome to Market Trak banner at the top and a confetti burst. Below your posts, a Your lead machine section previews what else a subscription opens up for your area: the online valuation tool, lead capture, nurture emails, automatic listing posts, and Facebook ads. Tapping any of those cards (or the button at the bottom of the page) opens a full-screen plans page where you can compare every plan and start when you're ready. If you've already subscribed, a Continue to your dashboard button at the bottom opens the full app instead.
Need to leave halfway?
A small Sign out icon sits in the top-right corner of the welcome flow and the Content Pack canvas. If you want to switch accounts or leave without finishing, click it to sign out cleanly. You can come back any time and continue from where you left off.
After the welcome flow
From this point on, signing in takes you straight to the dashboard like normal. Your first report and posts are kept for you:
-
The report lives on your Reports page
-
The social posts stay on your first pack's page, which you can reopen from the Content Packs page in the sidebar
You can edit any of them, post them, or generate more packs at any time from the Content Packs page in the sidebar.
What if I want to change my branding later?
Everything you set during the welcome flow can be edited later from Workspace Settings > Branding. Your logo, brand colour, agency name, and business website are all editable at any time, and your agency facts and social profiles live there too, under Brand Voice.
