Install the App and Enable Notifications
Download Market Trak as an app on your phone or desktop and enable push notifications so you never miss a lead or update.
Market Trak is a Progressive Web App (PWA), which means you can install it directly from your browser and use it like a native app on your phone, tablet, or desktop. No app store required.
Why install the app?
Installing Market Trak gives you:
-
A home screen icon on your phone or desktop, just like a native app
-
Full-screen experience without browser toolbars taking up space
-
Faster loading with offline caching for a smoother experience
-
Push notifications so you never miss a new lead, report, or post update
Installing on iPhone or iPad (Safari)
Safari is the only browser that supports PWA installation on iOS.

Open Safari and go to marketrak.pro
-
Sign in to your account
-
Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up) at the bottom of the screen
-
Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen
-
You will see "Market Trak" as the app name with our icon
-

-
Market Trak now appears as an app on your home screen

Installing on Desktop (Firefox)
Firefox does not currently support PWA installation natively. You can still use Market Trak in Firefox as a regular website, and push notifications will still work. If you want the app experience, use Chrome or Edge instead.
Enabling Push Notifications
Push notifications alert you in real time when something important happens in your workspace, even when Market Trak is not open. They appear as native notifications on your device (the same as notifications from any other app).
Why enable notifications?
Without push notifications, you would need to check Market Trak manually to see if anything has happened. With them enabled, you are notified instantly when:
| Event | What you are told |
|---|---|
| Report ready | A report you requested has finished generating |
| New lead | Someone submitted a valuation request on your page |
| Posts ready | Property feed posts are waiting for your approval |
| Post published | A scheduled post has been published to Facebook or Instagram |
| Campaign complete | An email campaign has finished sending |
| Campaign paused | A campaign paused because credits ran out |
| Credits low | Your credit balance is running low |
These notifications are especially valuable for new leads. When someone requests a valuation, a fast response dramatically increases your chances of winning that instruction.
How to enable push notifications
-
Go to User Settings (click your profile icon in the sidebar, then "User settings")
-
Find the Push Notifications card
-
Toggle the switch to on
-
Your browser will ask you to Allow notifications. Click Allow
-
You will see a confirmation that push notifications are enabled
That is it. You will now receive real-time alerts on your device.
Customising which notifications you receive
Below the main push toggle, you will find the Notification Preferences section. This lets you control each notification type individually, choosing whether you want:
-
Email notifications (sent to your inbox)
-
Push notifications (sent to your device)
-
Both or neither
Toggle each event on or off per channel to match your preferences.
Troubleshooting
"Notifications are blocked in your browser"
If you previously denied notification permission, your browser remembers that decision. To fix it:
Chrome (Desktop):
-
Click the lock icon (or tune icon) in the address bar
-
Find Notifications in the permissions list
-
Change it from Block to Allow
-
Refresh the page and try enabling notifications again
Chrome (Android):
-
Tap the lock icon in the address bar
-
Tap Permissions
-
Set Notifications to Allow
Safari (iPhone/iPad):
-
Open Settings on your device
-
Scroll down and tap Safari (or find Market Trak in your app list if installed)
-
Tap Notifications
-
Toggle Allow Notifications on
Edge (Desktop):
-
Click the lock icon in the address bar
-
Find Notifications and set to Allow
Notifications not appearing
-
Make sure your device's Do Not Disturb mode is off
-
Check that your operating system allows notifications from your browser (Windows: Settings > System > Notifications; Mac: System Settings > Notifications; iPhone: Settings > Notifications)
-
Try toggling push notifications off and on again in User Settings
-
On iPhone, you must have Market Trak installed as a PWA for push notifications to work (Safari 16.4+)
Push notifications not supported
Push notifications require a modern browser:
-
Chrome 50+ (desktop and Android)
-
Edge 17+
-
Firefox 44+
-
Safari 16.4+ (iOS 16.4+ and macOS Ventura+)
If your browser is older than these versions, update it to get push notification support.
Tips
-
Install on every device you use so you can respond to leads whether you are at your desk or on the go
-
Enable push notifications on your phone as a minimum, this is where you will benefit most from instant lead alerts
-
Keep the app installed rather than using the browser version. The installed app loads faster and gives you the full-screen experience
-
Check notification preferences regularly to make sure you are getting the alerts that matter to you
